He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Everett Spell and Cornelia Delphine Crum Spell; his brother James Everett Spell II (Regina); his nieces, Virginia Simons (Thornwell) and Martha Kay McClam (Eric); his nephew Benjamin Spell (Abby); his great-nephews, Daniel Bennett Spell and Coleman McClam; his great-niece Tessa McClam; and his friends, Bruce Plumer and Dr. Will Peebles.
