He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Buchanan and Carrie Lewis Buchanan of Cagle Branch; and his wife Wanda Freeman Buchanan of Sylva, NC.. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Buchanan (Cameron Cochran); and his grandchildren, Anna Cochran, Kaitlyn Cochran and Bryce Cochran.
