Though Delia Brown may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Franklin and Guscelia Morgan Brown; her husband Carl "Buddy" Stanford; and her siblings, Hammie, Hugh Robert, Fred, George, Delos and Bonnie Cogdill.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Patty" Cogdill.
The family also asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory be made to Skyland Care Center Activities Department, 193 Asheville Hwy., Sylva, NC 28779.
