It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Morrison of Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Morrison and Carrie Morrison; and his daughter Deborah Hawes. He is survived by : his wife Margie Morrison of Sylva; his sons, Melvin Morrison of London Kentucky and Kenneth Morrison; his brother Lewis Morrison of Jacksonville Florida; and his grandchildren, Amy, Nathan, Waylen, Jessica and Tiffany.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (524 Old Settlement Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
