She is survived by: her children, Stephen McMahan (Melissa) and Misty LaVigne (Jason); her sisters, Doris Elders, Maxine Henry (Jack), Freda Sheffield (Kim) and Brenda Bateman (Barry); her grandchildren, Chelsea Clawson (Evan), Josh McMahan, Callie Wilburn (Keyven), Micah LaVigne and Kidron LaVigne; and her great grandchild Cooper Clawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (278 Victory Church Rd, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery (278 Victory Church Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
