She was predeceased by: her parents, John Young and Lula Ann Ridley Young; her husband Clinton Franks; her children, Steven Franks, Sandra Franks and Clayton Franks; and her siblings, Arbutus Cochran, Margaret Hyatt and John Young, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Franks, John Franks, Radford Franks, Lana Franks, Madelyn Robinson, Debbie Gaddis, Rebekah Franks and Angela Franks. She is also survived by forty grandchildren; seventy-two great grandchildren; and twenty-eight great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
