She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Jacobs and Pearl Mills Jacobs; and her husband Kenneth Lowe. She is survived by: her sons, Chad Gates (Erin) and Mark Gates (Lola). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Memorial Gardens (104 Fairview Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
