We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2021, at the age of 72, Fred Glenn Causby of Sylva, North Carolina, born in Morganton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander Causby and Margaret Marie Duckworth Causby. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Donald Causby; his son William Wesley Causby; his siblings, James Ronald Causby, Mary Beth Whitaker and Jenny Gay Causby; and his nephews, Joseph Cody Causby, Brantly Elizabeth Causby, Justin Alexander Causby and Jared Alsey Causby.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your choice of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

“No one could count the hours Glenn and I spent together growing up. We hunted, fished, and mostly stayed out of trouble because of our love of the outdoors. While we lived several hours apart these last 50 years, we never forgot the good times. There was comfort in knowing Glenn was always in his cabin with Lucy and while I seldom dropped in on them, I knew it would be welcome. Seldom does a day go by I don't remember something funny about Glenn. I'm going to miss him. Bo Cash”
