She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henry Messer and Willa Mae Messer; and her brothers, Willard, Johnny and Jerry Messer.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Jennings Stokely; her son-in-law George Robinson Stokely; and her siblings, Dennis Messer, Linda Thibault and Beverly Campbell. She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Sylva Life Church of God Youth Ministry, a cause close to Fredia's heart as she continually encouraged future generations to know and love Jesus.
