The memory of Fredia Mae Bell (Sylva, North Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henry Messer and Willa Mae Messer; and her brothers, Willard, Johnny and Jerry Messer.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Jennings Stokely; her son-in-law George Robinson Stokely; and her siblings, Dennis Messer, Linda Thibault and Beverly Campbell. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sylva Life Church of God (59 Cherry St, Sylva, NC 28779). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Sylva Life Church of God Youth Ministry, a cause close to Fredia's heart as she continually encouraged future generations to know and love Jesus.
