He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilkey and Elsie Wilkey; and his siblings, Marshall Wilkey, Charles Wilkey, Georgie Ensley and Irene Wilkey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wilkey; his children, Edwin Wilkey (Pam) and Bobbie Brooks (Roger); his granddaughters, April Buchanan (Dale) and Jennifer Holland (Rodney); his great grandchildren, Morgan Smith (Trevor) and Bailey Buchanan; and his great great grandchild Ryder Buchanan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
