She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob F. Cable and Sarah Cabe Cable; her husband Rev. Harry David Vance; and her brothers, Shufford L. Cable, Clyde F Cable and Guy E Cable.

She is survived by : her children, Leeunah (Thad Woods) of Lake Junaluska and Ottie David Vance of Sylva; her sisters, Mildred Johnson of Andrews, Eleanor Rhinehart and Darleene Price of Sylva; her grandchildren, Heath Woods (Haylee) of Waynesville, Julie Woods Hendricks (Chip) of Lake Junaluska, Stacy Woods of Waynesville, Tanner Hendricks, Emma Hendricks, Ty Hendricks, Haiden Woods, Jacob Woods, Heath Thad Woods, Madison Norton (Chandler) and Mason Shirley; her sisters-in-law, Willetta Vance and Barbara Vance; her nieces and nephews, Sunday Lunch Buddies and Kathy Rhinehart; and her cousins, Joretta Moon and Junetta Pell.
