She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Burke Painter. She is survived by: her sister Linda Burgin; and her children, Debby Painter Cowan (Kim), Randall Painter (Claudia) and Julie Painter Roddenberry (Dave). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbeterian Church (46 Presbyterian Dr, Sylva, NC 28779).
