He is survived by: his wife Mary Ashe; his children, Brandon Phillips (Heather) and Kimberly Hampton (Bobby); his grandchildren, Morgyn Cunningham (Reaves), Madyson Cunningham (Hayden), Charley Orcutt, Austin Hampton, Daniel Hampton, Lucy Phillips, Annie Phillips, Macie Craig, Parker Craig and Hunter Craig; his great grandchild Laken Stillwell; and his siblings, Evalina Davis, Elaine Jones and Cory Ashe, Jr. (Peggy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
