As Jean Bryant departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jean Bryant. Though Jean Bryant may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, James and Roy Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Leland Herbert Plank; her children, Lisa Singleton (Greg), Sylvia Grace (Bob), Leland Flint Plank (Tonya) and Raymond Bryant Plank; her stepdaughter Allison Hamilton; and her brothers, George Bryant and Davis Bryant, Jr. (Brenda). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779).
