He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Sue West; his parents, James Robert West and Ella Miller West; his siblings, Bill Moody, James Wesley West, Louanna West Crowe and James "Bo" Parris; his granddaughter Lauren Hugelmaier; his children, Thomas Hanks (Adele), Frank Hanks, Lori Hugelmaier (Dale), Cathy Hanks, Jim West and John West (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Tina Coleman, Beth Agner, Stephanie Ashe Morrow, Paul West, Jay Jay West, Dawnenna Calhoun, Dr. Rachel Hanks, Will West, Erika Pint, Briana Evans, Tamra Awtrey, Justus Hanks and Hope Hanks. He was also cherished by seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
