Though Jolene Greene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Greene and Lucy Greene; and her husband Olin Buchanan. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Buchanan (Tera) of Arden, NC and John Buchanan (Brenda) of Crawfordville, FL.; and her sisters, Maxine Messer (James) and Clara Bell Askew (Carol). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Memorial Gardens (104 Fairview Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
