It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josh Stevenson of Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Stevenson; his daughters, Madeline Faith Stevenson, Abigale Grace Stevenson and Olivia Hope Stevenson; his parents, Jo Ellen Eckman Cline (Charles) of Bryson City and Carroll D. Stevenson (Dianne) of Franklin; his brother Benjamin Adam Stevenson (Susan) of Knoxville, TN; his nieces and nephews, Loralai and Bradley; his brother Chad Cline (Melina) of Canton; his nieces and nephews, Mikaela Reardon (Andrew) and Andy; his brother Chris Cline (Lina) of Roswell, GA; and his nephews, Aaron and Cole.

“We share your sadness in the loss of such a special young man. I was privileged to teach Josh and direct him in plays at SCHS. I was also privileged to watch him grow into a mature Christian man, becoming a loving husband and father. I truly admired Josh because of what he had come to be in his life. Our prayers are with Cathy and the girls, Jo Ellen and the rest of the family. We will be remembering you for many days to come. I am so sorry that we cannot come to the memorial.”
