He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Hampton, Dot Hampton and Fred Nicholson; and his great-grandparent Hardin Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Hampton; his daughter Paisley Grace Hampton; his parents, Stephanie Nicholson (Steve Westmoreland) and Kenneth Earl Hampton; his brothers, Jason Hampton and Kevin Stiles (Lauren); his uncle Steve (Kathleen Nicholson); his aunt JoAnn Nicholson (Johnny Nicholson); his parents-in-law, Sheila Gaddis and Steve; his nephew Ryan Stiles; and his grandmother Eleanor Nicholson Shetley (Bill Shetley). He is also survived by his family—especially his daughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Balsam Baptist Church (105 High Hvn Rd, Sylva, NC 28779). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
