It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Martin Speights (Sylva, North Carolina), who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Martin. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Brogden (Joe) of Franklin, NC; her grandchildren, William Brogden and Emma Brogden; her sisters, Sharon Haggins (Doug) of Holden Beach, NC and Debbie Hicks of Holden Beach, NC; and her nephews, Dillion Haggins and Christopher Hicks.
