Kathy Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2023, at the age of 74, Kathy Ellis of Sylva, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Clementz and Madeline Clementz; her daughters, Dawn Kirkland (Jody) and Sharon Moody (Mac); her grandchildren, Destiny Schroeder (Dylan), Kody Kirkland, Gladys-Ann Moody and Charles Moody; her great grandchild Eliana Schroeder; and her brother Ray Clementz (Maria). She was also cherished by many other in-laws, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Kathy was an organ and tissue donor and donated her body to forensic science for study. Memorial contributions may be made to Dawn Kirkland in care of Garrett Funeral Home at 460 N. Main Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
