She is survived by: her children, Randy Deitz (Pat), Sheri Deitz, Donna Watson (Frank) and Tim Deitz (Susan); her sister Jean Dalton; her daughter-in-law Sandra Deitz; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Travis, Cristal, Shannon, Valarie, Rocky, Angie, Shawn, Autumn, Whitney and Zack. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scotts Creek Baptist Church (97 Steeple Rd, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Addie Cemetery (30 Addie Cemetery Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
