He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Tallent and Nancy Wilson Tallent; his wife Virginia Ellen Tallent; his sisters, Catherine Pannell and Linda Mull; and his granddaughter Stephanie Lane Burnley.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Dale Tallent (Debbie), Wayne Woodson Tallent (Tanya) and Bobby Earl Burnley; his grandchildren, Krystal Ness (Nathan), Brittany Killian (Aaron), Bobby Lee Burnley, Ethan Grasty and Eli Grasty (Ashton); his sisters, Sandra Ridley and Kay Franks; and his niece Tammy Pannell. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
