Kristi leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kristi’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kristi will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Kirkpatrick and Pat Kirkpatrick; her husband Alan Hermes; her siblings, Jimmy Kirkpatrick, Chucky Kirkpatrick and Linda Hill; her brother-in-law Ron Hill; and her nephews, Ron Hill Jr. and George Hill.
She is survived by: her brother Monty Kirkpatrick (Becky).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
