He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Cabe and Thelma Blackwell; and his brothers, Sam, Gene and Bobby Cabe.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Gunter (Billy Ray), Jimmy Cabe and Rob Cabe; his grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany and Tristan; and his sister Juanita. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
