With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Morton (Sylva, North Carolina), born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elmer Lawrence Morton, Sr. and Bessie Cox Morton; his wife Marilyn Griffin; his children, Elizabeth Johnson (Cal) of Columbia, SC and Alan (Marlene) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Alexa Morton, Cade Morton, Ethan Johnson and Luke Johnson.

The family requests memorials be made to the Webster Baptist Church, United Christian Ministries of Jackson County or a favorite charity.
