She is survived by: her children, Donna Ashe Lucas of Boone, NC and Sheriff Jimmy Ashe (Lisa); her grandchildren, Matt Lucas (Claire), Paxton Ashe and Callie Ashe; and her sister Betty Paxton Reid (Del).
