He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Ray and Claudus Dietz Ray. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Henry Ray; his sons, Jeremy Ray (Trisha) and Justin Ray (Krystal); his grandsons, Jackson Ray and Jonah Ray; and his sister Barbara Frady (Gene). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to Broyhill Children's Home or to Four Seasons Hospice.
