She was predeceased by: her husband Monty DuPuy; her parents, Mamie Sue Jones Evans and Harry Lee Evans of Sylva; and her siblings, Nell Evans and Wallace Evans of Asheville.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margot Stewart (Jim) of Greenville, Mary DuPuy Jennings of Roswell, GA and Melissa DuPuy of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Matthew Jennings (Jessica) of Hendersonville, NC, Elizabeth Howerton, Mary Glen Hohmann of Greenville, Kate Williams (Matt) of Roswell, GA and Austin Jennings (Alisen) of Brooklyn, NY; her stepgranddaughters, Catherine Haskell (Matt) and Marge Connor (Jim) of Piedmont; her great grandchildren, Thomas Double and Rivers Haskell Dorton; and her grandmothers, Josie Haskell, Olivia Connor and Sloan Connor.
The family asks that instead of flowers, memorials be made to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC, 29605; or to Travelers Rest United Methodist Church, 19 South Main Street, Travelers Rest, SC.
