It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norma Jean Hooper of Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 86, on February 24, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy L. Sellers and Bertha Lawing Sellers; her husband Earl Hooper; her son Michael D. Hooper; and her siblings, Terry Sellers and Betty Owen.

She is survived by : her children, Rick Hooper (Joan) of Sylva, Sherry Hooper of Newland, NC and Andrea Thurn of Newland; her sister-in-law Linda Sellers of Columbus, MS; her nephew Kim (Tammy); and her nieces, Dottie Franklin, Donna Owen and Pam McIntyre.
