It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell Rigdon (Sylva, North Carolina), born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mitchell Rigdon and Robert William Rigdon; and his sister Barbara Maxine Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marie Cooksey of Fort Walton Beach, FL; his children, Sherilyn Rigdon Barron (Glenn Barron) of Fort Walton Beach and Greg Rigdon (Halcyon Rigdon) of Wake Forest, NC; and his grandchildren, Kristen Graham (Brett Graham) of London England, Chad Barron (Justine Barron) of Hendersonville, NC, Ariel Slonim (Jonathan Slonim) of New York City, NY and Adren Rigdon of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
