She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Gibson and Jessie Brooks Gibson; her spouse Odis Allison; her siblings, Edward "Ed", Charles Gibson and Cumi Gibson Hensley; and her son-in-law Avery Ashe.
She is survived by: her children, Cathey Allison Ashe of Sylva and Andrew Allison (Pam) of Tuckasegee; her grandchildren, Travis (Clarissa), Tabitha Ashe of Sylva and Charli Shae Allison of Tuckasegee; her great grandchildren, Eli, Max Ashe of Sylva, Hayden, Blakelli, Maisie and Hunter Allison of Tuckasegee; her siblings, Bill Gibson (Jean) of Candler, Myrtle Carvalho of Phoenix, AZ, Janie Benton of Sylva and Linda Walden of Lawley, AL; her grandson Troy Allison; and her nephews, Tony Broome, Chris, Kevin, Jesse Gibson and Eddie Orr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
