Sherry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sherry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Allen Ginn. She is survived by: her sons, Effrem Creasman and James Creasman; her sister Jamie Fox Grimsley (Bob Grimsley); and her nieces, Laura Kleinman (Brad Kleinman) and Natalie Grimsley. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (77 Jackson St, Sylva, NC 28779). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Sylva (77 Jackson St, Sylva, NC 28779).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to first united Methodist church of Sylva in Sherry's honor.
