She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Houston and Ella Nora Houston. She is survived by: her husband Jake Henry; her sons, Wallace (Janet) of Yadkinville, NC and Keith (Tina) of Danville, KY; her siblings, Fred (Alva) and Joy (Mike); Gerald Morris. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Addie Cemetery.
