It is with sadness that the passing of Thomas Wiley Nicholson Jr. (Sylva, North Carolina) is shared. Thomas, born on April 22, 1930, passed away on June 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wiley Nicholson and Velma Henderson Nicholson; his wife Tommie Jean; and his sisters, Ralphine Blanton of Sylva and Virginia McConnell of Georgia.
He is survived by: his son Gary Nicholson of Asheville; his grandsons, Adam Nicholson of Charlotte and Andrew Nicholson of Mars Hill; his niece Jane McConnell of Georgia; and his nephew Jerry McConnell of Georgia.
