He was predeceased by: his parents, L. W. Hardman (Shine) and Genevieve Eaddy Hardman; and his sisters, Norma Hardman and Sylvia Hardman Bergert. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hardman; his children, Alisan Royster (Keith) and Bill Hardman (Eva Rupp); his grandchildren, Jackson, Grant, Sarah Royster, Theodore and Kai Hardman; his brother Jim Hardman (Ronnie); and his foster brother Cotton Vreeland (Marjorie).
