She was predeceased by: her parents, Garcie Clifton Nealy and Cathleen Blackwell Nealy; her husband Harold Dean Singletary; her siblings, Larry Nealy, Jerry Nealy and Lucille Nealy; and her brothers-in-law, Roger Soles and Johnny Jernigan.

She is survived by: her son Harold Dean Singletary, Jr.; her sisters, Doris Hulon (Jerry), Jane Locklear (Roy), Linda Soles and Brenda Jernigan; and her sister-in-law Tina Nealy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
