She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Pinkney Suggs and Sarah Frances "Fannie" Graves Suggs; her husband Frank Stevens; and her siblings, Lloyd Suggs, Raymond Elroy Suggs, Howard Suggs and Ola Mae Suggs Sellers.
She is survived by: her son Frankie Joe Stevens; her granddaughter Jennifer Harkey; her sisters, Estelle Stanley, Mazie Smith, Eloise Hutto and Ann White; and her close friend Earl Causey. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
