With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Gore of Tabor City, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on May 12, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Strickland, Sr. and Grace Hardie Strickland; her husband Harry Lee "Bobby" Gore; and her siblings, Henry Strickland, Fred Strickland, Jr., Margaret Strickland and Katherine Deloch.
She is survived by: her children, Ginger Gore and Nickey Gore (Wendy) of Tabor City, Four; her grandchildren, Cameron Byrd, Blake Byrd, Savannah Gore Nye and Chase Gore; and her great grandchildren, Haiden Byrd, Braxton Byrd and Saylor Nye.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Iron Hill Baptist Church (22247 Peacock Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iron Hill Baptist Church Building Fund at 22247 Peacock Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463.
