He is survived by: his wife Doris Strickland Gore; his children, Harry Nickey Gore (Wendy) of Tabor City and Ginger G. Gore of Tabor City; his grandchildren, Giles Cameron Byrd, Brenton Blake Byrd, Savannah Gore Nye (Chase) and Chase Gore; and his great grandchildren, Giles Hayden Byrd, Braxton Woods Byrd and Saylor Renee Nye.
