He is survived by: his siblings, Nellie Ward (Homer) of Whiteville, NC, Jane Ford (Bob) of Cerro Gordo, NC and Terry Caines (Brenda) of Whiteville, NC; his close friends, Kyle and Tabatha Blackburn of Tabor City, NC; and his stepson Rev. David Ward (Jennifer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
