He is survived by: his children, Darren Jerome Lanier of Shallotte, NC and Regina Suzanne Lanier of Conway, SC; his siblings, Timothy Lanier (Phyllis) of Tabor City, NC, James Franklin Lanier (Debbie) of Green Sea, SC, Katrina Powell (Dale) of Loris, SC, Sara Richardson (Willie) of Greenville, NC and Donna Kearse (Bryan) of Tabor City, NC; and his grandchildren, Hannah Marie Lanier, Ava Grace Griffith and Jacob Eldon Lanier.
