She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Burnett Gore and Martha Marie Gore; and her niece Faith Elizabeth Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Carey Hunter Fleming III; her son Heath Spivey of Tabor City, NC; her stepchildren, Scott Crabtree (Nancy) of Lake Waccamaw, NC, April Stevens of Whiteville, NC and Carey Ann Fleming of Nakina, NC; her sister Gayle Dellinger (Ronald) of Cary, NC; and her nephew Scott Wilson (Mindy) of Cary, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bethel Methodist Church (2733 M M Ray Rd, Clarendon, NC 28432). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
