He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cox and Laura Heath Grantham; and his sister Gaye Grantham. He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Martinez (Alfredo) of Clarendon, NC. and Sarah Nunez (Eldher) of Clarendon, NC.; his siblings, Kathy Powell (Frankie) of Tabor City, NC., Melissa Ransom (Charles) of Bladenboro, NC., Monroe "Dee" Grantham (Princess) of Tabor City, NC. and Rodney Cox (Annie) of Burlington, NC.; his grandchildren, Nathan Martinez Jazmin Martinez (Kenzie Long) and Samantha Miller (Dylan); and his great grandchildren, Oliver Martinez, Archie Martinez and Mason Miller.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463).
