It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Esta Gore of Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Lucy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lucy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Sinclair Gore and Lucy Evelyn Marlowe Gore; her daughter-in-law Jessica Caulder; and her grandson Ryan Chance Caulder. She is survived by: her sons, James Daniel Jenrette (Angela) of Selma, NC and Donald Ryan Caulder of Whiteville; and her grandchildren, Breanna Jenrette, Rachel Lairemore, Zoyi Caulder and Rylan Caulder.
