He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jeffrey Hopkins (Heather) of Dillion, SC., Jack Hopkins Jr. of Dillion, SC. and Angela Lynn Hopkins of Tabor City; his cousin Glenda Elliott of Nichols, SC.; and his niece Kimber Shay Wilson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (16010 James B White Hwy S, Tabor City, NC 28463).
