She was predeceased by: her parents, Garcie Pinkney Williamson and Magnolia "Maggie" Norris Williamson; her husband Furney Defentrice "Dee" Buffkin; her son David Lee Buffkin; and her siblings, Garcie Willaimson Jr., Leon Pinkey Williamson, Lee Kinlaw, Roxie Jones, Shirley Cribb, Betty Spivey and Joyce Lovette.
She is survived by: her sons, James William Buffkin (Gail) of Nichols, SC. and Furney Dale Buffkin (Robin) of Tabor City, NC.; her sisters, Cathy Simmons (Harry) of Clinton, NC., Jo Anna Howard and Iris Gale Hairr of Fayetteville, NC.; and her grandchildren, James Buffkin Jr., Cameron Buffkin, Rebecca Buffkin, Deanna Inman and Jonathan Buffkin. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
