We announce the death of Patty Sue Baxley of Tar Heel, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 71. Patty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Patty’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Worth Baxley and Nora Turner Baxley; and her brother Lihn Baxley. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Harrison (Chris) of Whiteville and Ashley Bryant (Jason) of Tar Heel.
