She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Robinson and Estelle Flood Robinson. She is survived by: her sons, James A. Barnes Jr. of Durham, NC and Jonathan A. Barnes of Alexandria, VA; and her brother William S. Robinson of Fuquay-Varina, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary Chapel (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Luke Episcopal Church (301 Panola St, Tarboro, NC 27886).
