He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Dancy Whitehead. He is survived by: his sons, Collin Whitehead of Tarboro, NC, Leon Whitehead of Rocky Mount, NC and Leslie Whitehead of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
