She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Summerlin and Rosa Summerlin; her husband Johnny H. Pittman; her grandson Chris Poole; her siblings, Jack, Thomas, James, Frank, Willie, Yates Summerlin, Mammie Reason, Doris Newcombe and Margie Lamm; and her son-in-law Lenward Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Pittman Greene, Sharon Pittman Jones and Greg Pittman (Scarlett); her grandchildren, Johnny Ray Bell (Marie), Teresa Bell and Rachel Olander; her stepgrandsons, Michael Jones (Dawn) and Wesley Jones (Karen); and her siblings, Annie Mae Crumpler, Beatrice Webb, Clifton Summerlin and Melvin Summerlin. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and great great great grandchildren.
